Many of our hospital clients have expressed concern not only with the current shortage of PPE, but the shifting standards around compliance and their need to purchase PPE that meets unfamiliar standards from new and unvetted suppliers.

In response, USMEDIC has retained a materials scientist with a specialization in global regulatory compliance and product safety/chemicals management to assist our clients in validating testing protocols and reports, certificates of compliance, and social compliance of their current or prospective PPE suppliers. We can provide the following services:

• Validation of testing protocols and reports including sufficiency of testing protocols to ensure compliance with applicable FDA or CE standards

• Validation of Certificates of Compliance (COCs) including FDA, NIOSH, and CE documentation

• Validation of social compliance ensuring ethical practices around labor rights and environmental considerations throughout the supply chain

USMEDIC can also facilitate additional testing and inspection of PPE within manufacturing facilities, assist with establishing testing protocols and SOPs, and consult on general standards including comparisons between different standards (FDA vs. CE and N95 vs. KN95 etc.)
